In 1960, lilac was selected as "Sapporo's tree" through a citizen vote. The Sapporo Lilac Festival is a festival where you can feel the arrival of spring along with its sweet fragrance. At Odori Park, where about 400 lilacs can be enjoyed, various events such as a brass band festival are held, and food and drink can be enjoyed at the 6th district venue. At the Kawashimo venue, over approximately 200 varieties of lilacs bloom beautifully. ■Remarks Access to Kawashimo Park: Get off at "Shiroishi" Station on the Tozai Line and take Chuo Bus "Shiro 24 Kawashimo Line, Kawashimo Park Front."
