76th Shimizu Port Festival

The Shimizu Port Festival is held every August. When you think of the Shimizu Port Festival, you must not miss the "Port Kappore General Dance" where about 20,000 dancers perform for two days, blowing away the summer heat! Additionally, the "Shimizu Yukata Dance Local Dancers" and "Jirocho Procession" heat up the town of Shimizu. At the festival finale, fireworks launched for about 60 minutes without pause capture the attention of visitors to the venue. Since the date, time, and venue vary by content, it is recommended to check in advance before going out.
