Katsura Jakujaku Memorial Rakugo Performance JAK2 FOREVER

Sending the king of laughter from Kamigata with everyone's smiles
In memory of the late master Rakugo performer Katsura Jakujaku, who passed away suddenly last November, a memorial Rakugo performance featuring performers connected to him. The lineup includes the leading figure in the Kamigata Rakugo world, Roku Dai Katsura Bunshi, Eika Utsumi, the only one in Osaka to inherit "Onna Dōraku" (shamisen storytelling), Hōsei Tsukitei, who has made great strides in the Rakugo world after transitioning at the age of 41, and Genta Katsura, a young hopeful whom Jakujaku had high hopes for. Program: Round table discussion in memory of Master Jakujaku (all performers), Genta Katsura, Hōsei Tsukitei (intermission), Katsura Jakujaku "Animals" (video screening), Eika Utsumi "Onna Dōraku", Katsura Bunshi. The order of performances is subject to change. ■Notes Performance titles will be announced on the day. Admission is not allowed for preschool children.
