Sakura Blossom Viewing at Shimojogawa Senbonzakura

From 1987 to 1998, Somei Yoshino cherry trees were planted on both banks of Shimojogawa. This was part of the 'Shimojogawa Senbonzakura Project' and 'Sakura Embankment Model Project'. In spring, a beautiful cherry blossom avenue stretches for about 2.7km along the promenade.
