Special public tour of the Nishikawa Jingo-ro residence Autumn 2025

A special tour including a visit to the residence of the Omi merchant (Nishikawa Jingo-ro, known for "Futon no Nishikawa") with over 450 years of history. After gathering at Hakuunkkan, guided by the Tourism Volunteer Guide Association, we will tour Yahata-bori and the Voris statue (there will be no town exploration in the morning session). Following this, at the Nishikawa family residence, there will be a mini-lecture on the history of Nishikawa, followed by a tour of the residence, experiencing the wisdom and lifestyle of the Omi merchants.
