【Cherry Blossoms・Peak Bloom】 Edohigan at Iwaharahara

Town designated natural monument Edohigan
Located south of Lake Kaisho created by Kaisho Dam in Iinan-cho, near the border of Shimane and Hiroshima Prefectures, is the Edohigan cherry tree which is approximately 400 years old. Its trunk circumference is 4.9m and height is 16m. Designated as a natural monument by the town, it is cherished by the local community.
