Eiheiji Town Large Lantern Floating

Wishing for peace and happiness.
The summer tradition of Eiheiji Town, "Eiheiji Town Large Lantern Floating." After the chanting and offering of names by the monks of the head temple Eiheiji and the group of monks, about 10,000 lanterns are floated down the Kuzuryu River, filled with thoughts of memorial for predecessors. The climax features fireworks that herald the end of summer.
