[Marine Bathing] Matoba Beach

A popular spot with a beach of beautiful white sand spreading into the blue sea. There are showers (for a fee) and changing rooms, and in the summer, it gets crowded with many sea bathers. The waves of the Seto Inland Sea are very calm, making it perfect for families. It is also known as an excellent fishing point. The islands of Awajima, Oshima, Karajima, Osakikamijima, and Ikunoshima spread out before you, and on clear days, you can see the mountains of Shikoku. ■Notes No use of fire for fireworks, barbecues, etc. in Matoba Park.
