【Flower・Best Viewing】Kabayashi Forest Park Himalayan Blue Poppy

Difficult to cultivate, sky-colored flowers
A park developed around the trailhead to Mount Sarakamine. Near the natural cooler 'Kazanana' where a nearly constant wind blows from the rock cave throughout the seasons, the 'Himalayan Blue Poppy' usually blooms around late June each year. This flower is a plant that typically thrives in alpine regions and does not usually bloom in this area, but it is carefully cultivated by volunteers making use of the cool air from Kazanana. Please enjoy the flowers without taking them home, either with your eyes or through photos.
