Miyajidake Shrine, located as the head shrine among the many shrines throughout the nation, has been standing for about 1,800 years. It is respected as a deity of fortune that overcomes all adversities, attracting many worshippers from various regions. It is renowned for its cherry blossoms, with approximately 3,000 trees planted, including Ouka cherry, Kanhi cherry, Kawazu cherry, Someiyoshino, Yaezakura, and Yamazakura. The viewing begins with the 'Fortune Cherry Blossom' that blooms in January and continues until the colorful Yaezakura blossoms at the end, allowing for an extended cherry blossom viewing experience. The 'Sakura Flower Festival' is also held in conjunction with the peak viewing period.
