34th Docchan Festival
A festival that recreates the liveliness of Imari Bay
A festival that recreates the former vibrancy of Imari Bay with 'Onna Mikoshi' and 'Imari Taiko'. The 'Docchan' in the 'Docchan Festival' means 'Which way?' and it is said that merchants gathered from all over the country received the hospitality of Imari merchants and raised joyful cries wondering which way to go. The highlight is the 'Onna Mikoshi'. The sight of lifting the mikoshi along with the calls is spectacular. Additionally, there are plenty of activities such as the business exhibition and Working Vehicle EXPO for a full day. ■Notes Please be aware that there will be traffic regulations on surrounding roads on the day of the festival.
