Second Special Exhibition 'History and Culture of My Town Osaki - School Edition 2'

Modern school education in Japan began with the promulgation of the 'Education System' in 1872. Therefore, the former Furukawa First Elementary School, from which Yoshino Sakuzo graduated, along with other elementary schools that have long supported local education, recently celebrated their 150th anniversary. This special exhibition will unravel the history of elementary schools in Osaki City from pre-war school diaries. Gallery talk on the special exhibition on 3/8 (Sun) at 14:00, lecturer: Mr. Satoshi Ohira. Historical course 'What is “Tohoku”?' on 3/22 (Sat) at 14:00, lecturer: Mr. Akinobu Goto.
