The 28th Okamoto Taro Contemporary Art Award Exhibition

Taro Okamoto, who has continuously taken on new challenges in advance of his time. The Okamoto Taro Contemporary Art Award was established to honor artists who confront contemporary society with sharp messages through free perspectives and ideas, inheriting Okamoto's spirit. This year marks the 28th edition of the award, with 579 submissions, resulting in 24 creative artists being selected. Let’s appreciate ambitious works exploring new possibilities for art in the 21st century.

Fee

General 700 yen (560 yen), high school and university students, and seniors over 65 500 yen (400 yen), and free for middle school students and younger. *Numbers in parentheses are group rates for 20 or more people.
