Katsushika Hokusai's 'Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji' ≪The Great Wave off Kanagawa≫ is something that everyone may have seen at least once. It has also been adopted for the new 1,000 yen bill, making it a much closer presence. Knowing Hokusai will surely expand your world of art! We will be exhibiting reproduction ukiyo-e prints created using materials, techniques, and methods from the Edo period, along with tools and more. We also plan to include content that will be helpful for independent research projects. Let's explore potential homework themes together with the curator after seeing the exhibition and sparking your interest!

Last admission at 15:30. <Supporting summer homework!> From July 31 (Thursday) to August 6 (Wednesday), and August 18 (Monday) to August 24 (Sunday). 9:10-10:00 / 16:00-16:50 (about 50 minutes each session). Target: Families with elementary school students (adults) reservation required (by phone).
