"Beauty of Use" refers to the beauty that resides in everyday utensils, as proposed by Soetsu Yanagi, the founder of the Mingei movement. This exhibition focuses on the beauty of use in ceramics and introduces works by artists who participated in the Mingei movement alongside Yanagi from the collection of the Shotoen Ceramic Museum. Works from Imari ware and Chinese and Korean ceramics will also be showcased.
