Hanamatsuri (Dewa Sanzan Shrine Annual Festival)

The annual festival of Dewa Sanzan Shrine, "Hanamatsuri." After the ceremony at the shrine, a portable shrine procession will take place. In front of this portable shrine, an artificial flower offering shaped like rice flowers will be attached. As the portable shrine and the offering circle Mirror Pond, worshippers will compete to take the artificial flower offering in a ritual praying for abundant harvests and the safety of their households.
