Hie Shrine Grand Festival (Rice Planting Dance)

Ritual offering event of the grand festival on May 1 every year
The rice planting dance performed by the maidens began in 1930 and has continued to the present day as a ritual offering during the grand festival held every year on May 1 since 1934. Children dressed in colorful rice planting costumes dance while praying for an abundant harvest. Afterwards, lions also participate, and the palanquin procession takes place. Additionally, a children’s palanquin also parades through the town.
