Chikako Ohara and Shinichi celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, the golden wedding. Their only daughter, Aya, transitioned from operating a food truck to becoming a nutritionist at a luxury nursing facility, and her marriage to her boyfriend Ryota Sugano is just around the corner. The Ohara family seemed to be going smoothly, but one day, suspicions of dementia arose regarding Shinichi. Meanwhile, Chikako, inspired by her encounter with her chanson teacher’s daughter, Hieko Maruyama, whom she studied with in her youth, begins attending lessons again.
