The 24th Kome Hyakuhyō Festival

A day to learn about the spirit of Kome Hyakuhyō in a fun way!
A festival born alongside the autumn harvest celebration, themed on Nagaoka's pride, the spirit of "Kome Hyakuhyō." It features a historical procession recreating the Nagaoka Domain from the late Edo period, fun experience-based activities for children to learn about Nagaoka's history at "Experience! National Kan School," and a card-hunting event called "Find the Ancestor Cards" that introduces predecessors inspired by the spirit of Kome Hyakuhyō, among many other special events. It's a festival where you can joyfully learn about the local history and the spirit of Kome Hyakuhyō, which Nagaoka takes pride in.
