The 52nd Yonago Gaina Festival

A grand summer festival that involves the whole community, named "Gaina" which means "large" in the local dialect of the Yonago region. Enjoy a variety of events including the Gaina Lanterns, Gaina Drums, and Gaina CON! A two-day event unfolding on a truly large scale! Following last year's 50th anniversary of the Yonago Gaina Drum, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the Yonago Gaina Lanterns. The grand fireworks festival (on 8/10) will color the night sky and conclude one of the hottest days in Yonago.
