20th Anniversary of the Establishment of Ichiki Kushikino City - 53rd Kushikino Sano Sasa Festival

In the Meiji era, the 'Kushikino Sano Sasa' sang about the poignant feeling of fishermen who left the port for long periods of time for tuna fishing. In tune with that melody, every year, over 1,000 dancers walk through the streets. Additionally, this year, the 'Sano Sasa GENKI Yokocho', featuring stalls and food booths from local restaurants and organizations, will be held simultaneously by the Ichiki Kushikino Chamber of Commerce Youth Division.
