Prefectural park cherished by citizens
Omiya Park, established in 1885 as the first prefectural park in Saitama Prefecture, features towering red pines over a hundred years old and a thousand cherry trees, among many beautiful trees that showcase new green leaves and autumn colors, allowing visitors to enjoy seasonal changes. In spring, not only Somei Yoshino but also weeping cherries, satokura cherries, magnolias, and kanhizakura bloom brilliantly, offering a beautiful spring landscape.
