40th Mito Film Festival

"Memories of Film, Pulses Towards the Future" ~ Now and in the future, together with films, Mito. ~ The Mito Film Festival held its first event in October 1986 at the former Mito Citizens Hall. Focusing on works related to Mito, Ibaraki, and works reflecting the social situation, we select from a diverse range of works and invite talk guests to screen them, contributing to the development of Mito's visual and film culture. This year marks the 40th edition, featuring a special focus on director Kinji Fukasaku and a lineup of luxurious guests!\n
