[Swimming] Hondo Beach

The wide beach is located entirely within a bay, with calm waves and shallow waters, making it recommended for families. During the season, beach fences will be installed. Additionally, efforts are being made to maintain the coastal environment while preserving nature, allowing not only swimming but also marine sports like board sailing. This location was the first in Japan to hold the triathlon, which has an official distance of 51.5 km, and there is a monument commemorating its origin in Japan. Facilities include changing rooms, showers, and toilets. ■Remarks If you wish to use BBQ facilities, prior application is required.
