Screening of the movie 'The 400,000 Books that were Evacuated' and lecture by director Kenji Kanetaka

Depicting the evacuation of books in wartime Japan
Efa Japan believes that delivering books is one of the supports for opening up the future. This time, we are holding a screening of the movie 'The 400,000 Books that were Evacuated', which is deeply connected to our activities' philosophy. We are also inviting director Kenji Kanetaka for a lecture. This documentary depicts the efforts of people during wartime Japan to protect valuable books and reexamines the significance of 'preserving books for future generations'.
