"Kurume Kasuri" has been designated as an Important Intangible Cultural Asset by the national government due to its high level of technique and artistry. The fourth generation weaver focuses on traditional methods and hand-weaving that have been passed down through the ages while striving to preserve these techniques. At the same time, they create original works by incorporating new techniques. This exhibition features a wide range of items, primarily showcasing new kimonos and obi, as well as everyday accessories, bags, and clothing that are easy to use.
