When Sagamihara City was established in 1954 through the merger of 8 towns and villages, society was beginning to settle down after the chaos following World War II, moving towards a vibrant community. This exhibition focuses on the 'Sagamihara City Chronicle 1955,' published on March 31, 1956, at the end of the fiscal year following the city's establishment, showcasing the lives of local people and the state of the city at that time. *The city chronicle is a booklet summarizing the region's nature, culture, industry, and people's lives.
