Aiko Sato, who has won numerous literary awards. After turning 90, she stopped writing and reduced her social interactions, living in a depressed state, when a middle-aged editor, Yoshikawa, approached her with a request for an essay. The essay, which openly expressed her anger towards the world with "It's just too annoying!", unexpectedly became a huge hit, and Aiko's life began to change drastically at the age of 90...
