Fireworks that announce the beginning of summer in Tohoku
The Shiogama Minato Festival is counted as one of Japan's three major boat festivals. This fireworks festival is held on the eve of the festival. Approximately 8,000 fireworks announce the beginning of summer in Tohoku, brilliantly lighting up the night sky of Shiogama City. There will also be a fun carnival square and various stalls.
