Special Exhibition "The Lords of Suwa - The Takashima Clan Lords: Their People, Things, and Thoughts"

The Takashima clan served as lords of the Suwa domain throughout the Edo period. Currently, in Suwa City, there are plans to develop the Takashima clan lord's mausoleum (National Historic Site) adjacent to Onsenji. In this special exhibition, we aim to broadly inform visitors about the lords of the Suwa clan, related collections, and the clan's mausoleum by introducing the origins of the domain as well as the activities and personal characteristics of the successive lords, while showcasing various materials related to the Suwa clan lord from the collection.
