Yoshiya Hibi Collection Masterpiece Exhibition Playing with Stones — Imagination and Creation of Stone Lovers

The Yoshiya Hibi collection consists of paintings and calligraphy created by stone lovers in Japan and China, centered around the theme of stones. The collection was built by Mr. Yoshiya Hibi, who diligently researched and collected bonseki art while operating a railway company. The Waseda University Aizu Hachiyo Memorial Museum has continuously received this rare collection, which has been amassed over many years by Mr. Hibi, and now counts 124 pieces. This exhibition will feature selected works from the collection, including newly received pieces.
