[Flower Viewing] Tanaka Honke's Shara flower

The Shara tree, over 240 years old, is located in the courtyard of the Tanaka Honke Museum. Every year, around the beginning of the rainy season, it starts to bloom small white flowers. The Shara flower, a one-day flower, falls on the very day it blooms, falling one after another as if cascading onto the pond. It is beautifully ephemeral and offers a somewhat surreal landscape to enjoy. It is said that when the flowers finish blooming, it signals the end of the rainy season, representing the changing of the seasons.
