Iwayaji Grand Festival & Iwayaji Marche (October)

A traditional event held at an ancient temple in Chita
A major festival held on the 17th of each month at Iwayaji, the main temple of the Owari Koyasan sect. A goma prayer ceremony will be held at the Oku-no-in starting at 9 AM. Around 11 AM, a prayer service and Dharma talk will take place in the main hall. There will be special stamps available for those who participate in the flag procession from the Oku-no-in to the main hall. On the day of the event, there will be vegetable and knife stalls in front of the gate. A marche will be held on the temple grounds, offering food and merchandise for families to enjoy.
