Tome Autumn Festival
The luxurious and splendid festival floats resonate with music as they parade.
The Tome Autumn Festival has been passed down for 350 years. On Saturday's evening festival, the 'Toyoma-type' floats created by the neighborhood associations gather for the 'General Viewing and Judging'. Enjoy the illuminated floats during the night lighting festival. On Sunday, during the main festival, the portable shrines, floats, and warrior parades march through the district, with the sounds of the indispensable 'Toyama Hayashi' flute and drums echoing throughout the festival. At the main venue, performances such as taiko drumming, choral singing, and dance by the Date Samurai Corps will be held.
