Carnivorous Plant Exhibition

Carnivorous plants that survive in harsh environments with low nutrients by setting various traps to capture insects. The exhibition gathers various carnivorous plants, such as the Venus flytrap that catches insects by snapping shut, and the Nepenthes that captures insects by trapping them in a pitcher. It introduces their ecology and diversity. Using real specimens and panels, the exhibition explains in a child-friendly way what types exist and how they capture and digest insects. This year, it features horticultural varieties of Venus flytraps, highlighting the differences from the basic species.
