34th Festival of Sakitsu Port with a View of the Church

In July 2018, the 'Sakitsu Village of Amakusa' was registered as a World Cultural Heritage site. On this day only, the Sakitsu Church is illuminated, and the fireworks launched behind it beautifully decorate the village. *The kanji for 'saki' in Sakitsu is correctly written as '立崎' (Tatsusaki)
