The 126th Omigawa Fireworks Festival

Exploding on the surface of the Tone River! Giant underwater star mine
Boasting one of the most notable histories and scales in the Kanto region, the fireworks festival that has been held since Meiji 41 will be celebrating its 126th time this year. The magnificent fireworks utilizing the surface of the Tone River are a unique feature of a city blessed with nature's water and greenery, and among them, the giant underwater star mine that bursts in the vast sky over the Tone River is truly impressive. Additionally, a "National Shakudama Competition" is also held simultaneously, where firework masters from across the country bring their stunning fireworks and large shell rockets to compete in beauty.
