Rakugo de Ah! Ten - Are We Going That Far? A Forced Collaboration of Rakugo and Art

This exhibition introduces rakugo stories through Japanese paintings by Harukyo Yamamoto and Yuki Ogura, textiles by Fukumi Shimura, American art by George Segal, and Art Brut works by Masao Obata. It’s a project that allows both rakugo enthusiasts and those who are unfamiliar with rakugo to enjoy artistic works alongside the stories, making it a double treat. Let’s enjoy the world of rakugo together with the museum's collection.
