Exhibition 'Poets Gathered under Ryunosuke and Saisei - 100 Years from the 'Capital of Poetry'!''

In April 1925, Sakutaro Hagiwara moved to Tabata, relying on Saisei Murou. Upon hearing this news, Ryunosuke Akutagawa communicated his joy to friends, saying, 'Hagiwara Sakutaro has come to Tabata, making it very poetic.' Around the same time, Tatsuji Hiro also moved to Tabata and studied under Murou and Akutagawa. In later years, Murou referred to this period in Tabata as the 'capital of poetry.' This exhibition introduces the melodies and friendships of the poets who supported the peak of the Tabata Bunshimura, celebrating 100 years since the era when they critiqued and elevated each other.
