Hinata-yama Summer Festival
Scenery of our hometown that we want to pass on to the children
The Hinata-yama Onsen Summer Festival Fireworks Festival has been held for nearly half a century. In order to preserve the traditions of our hometown that had once faded away, the 'Hinata-yama Summer Festival' was revived in 2012 with the efforts of the local community. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Kirishima city's establishment, and we will hold popular events such as the Ayu (sweetfish) grabbing competition, a lottery with luxurious prizes, the Hinata-yama Hanatare Mikoshi, and stage events! A grand finale of 3,000 fireworks lighting up the night sky is also planned.
