Shirai Falls (しらいのたき) is a 96m tall waterfall located in the Sarugamine Range Prefectural Nature Park. It flows over the upper Chogen River, and its cascading appearance truly evokes the greatness of nature. Every year during the rainy season, colorful hydrangeas bloom, delighting visitors' eyes. After the season, the garden owner and local residents collaborate to carry out hydrangea picking activities, protecting and nurturing the natural environment and tourist attractions.
