Fireworks Douran Bee

"Douran Bee" is launched every year on September 15 by the parishioners of Wakamiyahachimangu in Oji, Yamakawa Town. When the "parent bee," "small bee," "explosive sound," and "device" fireworks, prepared by the pond of Oji, are ignited simultaneously, sparks fly in all directions, and, with a thunderous sound, the parent bees and small bees soar into the night sky like enraged bumblebees, engulfed in flames. The stunning colors and roaring sounds captivate the audience. (Prefectural Designated Intangible Folk Cultural Asset)
