Kinohon Jizo Great Temple Fair & Kinohon Great Fireworks Festival

From August 22 to 25, the "Furusato Summer Festival" will be held in the vicinity of Kinohon Jizo-in in Nagahama City, Kinohon-cho. In conjunction with the major temple fair of Kinohon Jizo-in, which gathers strong faith as the eye Buddha, about 100 stalls will line up along the Kitakuni Road and Jizo坂, attracting around 100,000 visitors during the festival period. On the final day, August 25, the "Kinohon Great Fireworks Festival" will take place at the Hokuriku THG Twin Arena, adorning the night sky with splendid colors.

Note

On August 22 (Friday), 17:00 to 21:30. Prayers at the Kinohon Jizo Great Temple Fair will be held 4 times a day during the period (9:00~/11:00~/13:00~/15:00~). The Kinohon Great Fireworks Festival will be held on August 25 (Monday) from 20:00 to 20:30 (cancelled in case of bad weather).
