Delivering hot information about the ruins of Kagoshima
This special exhibition introduces the latest findings centered on notable ruins identified through excavation investigations and reports conducted last year in the prefecture, including a shogi board unearthed from the ruins of Kagoshima Castle Ninomaru and toilet structures from the Suwanomae ruins in Akune City. Pre-registration is required. The lecturers are Shinichiro Fujishima, Cultural Property Supervisor at the Kagoshima Prefectural Center for Buried Cultural Properties (Tachizuka Ruins in Kanoya City) and Hatsune Matsuyama, Cultural Property Specialist at the Foundation for Buried Cultural Property Investigation (Suwanomae Ruins in Akune City). A gallery talk by the lecturers will be held after the presentation.
