The duo of Takahito Asai (baritone) and Mitsuko Ogiso (piano), well-known for German Lieder, will present Japanese songs. The program is filled with the charm of Japanese songs, from children's songs by Yoshinao Nakada to tanka by Shuji Terayama, as well as works by contemporary composers such as Shu Katsuki, Makiko Kinoshita, and Taketomi Nobunaga, who are currently active and flourishing.
