How to Grow My Beloved Peonies Course

Tips for making them bloom beautifully, even for beginners.
Every year, many fans visit the Machida Yakushiike Park Shikisai no Mori Peony Garden to admire its elegant flowers. For those who say, "I want to try growing them, but it seems difficult," "They don't bloom large flowers," or "I don't know where to prune," a peony growing course is being held. Supervised by the Japan Peony Association, participants will learn thoroughly through lectures and hands-on practice, covering everything from history and varieties to planting and pruning methods. Beginners are welcome. Participants will receive a potted peony as a souvenir, allowing them to practice at home right after the course. ■Notes No refund for entry fee even if you bring an invitation ticket to the peony garden.
