Spirit Boat Sending (Wada)
A Bon Festival event held in Wada
This event is a spirit sending ceremony held in various places across the country, but Wada's spirit boat is a straw boat measuring 3 meters long and 1.5 meters wide, made by local residents. Offerings are placed on it, lanterns are lit, and it is pulled to the sea by the village's youth.
