Iwami Night Kagura Masuda Performance (First Half)

Let's get excited with Iwami Kagura on Saturday night in Masuda! Based on Japanese mythology, Iwami Kagura features the unique and melancholic sound of flutes, vibrant taiko drumming, and performers adorned in luxurious costumes with gold and silver threads, wearing expressive masks. The performance style has evolved over time, and now showcases the magnificent rhythm of the heroic Hachichoushi and a wide variety of performances. Both the dance and the music are intense, characterized by a refreshing and heroic quality that is a hallmark of Masuda's Iwami Kagura.
