At Kinokuniya Shinjuku Main Store, we will invite Dr. Chizuko Ueno, a researcher on caregiving and gender for individuals, to discuss with authors Akitoshi Nishikata, Yoko Otobe, Noriko Kato, and Sayaka Shimamori about the book 'The Development of Comparative Welfare Sociology - From the Perspectives of Care and Gender' (Shin Hyoron). We want to reflect on what crises are currently facing the gender and caregiving for individuals, and create an opportunity to think together about what it means to live as active subjects and what is necessary for caregiving. ■ Notes A signing session will be held after the talk.
