Expo - The Flourishing of Japanese Painting: Hokusai, Taikan, and Suiseki (Fukuda Art Museum)

The world's largest international exhibition, "Expo," showcases cutting-edge science and technology from around the globe. In the past, at the 1900 Paris Exposition Universelle, the only Japanese painter to win a gold medal, Suiseki Ohashi, along with an illustrious group of painters, displayed their works passionately, shining brightly in the name of Japan. This special opportunity to hold an Expo in Kansai brings together many masterpieces by painters who challenged themselves on the international stage with their art. It is an exhibition that celebrates this memorable year of the Expo.

Admission fee: General and university students 1,500 yen; High school students 900 yen; Elementary and junior high school students 500 yen (Common ticket available with Saga-Arashiyama Museum, adults 2,300 yen)
